About

Lillian completed a diploma in Graphic Design in 2014. The following year she began a degree in Natural History Illustration (scientific illustration) at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2018. Lillian also took a course in children’s book design and illustration at Pumphouse Design School, Newcastle, and with these specialised skills she began work as a freelance designer and illustrator.

Having a background in design for print and illustrating for print, Lillian is in a relatively unique position of being able to manage a broad range of creative projects from conception to finish.
She has produced informative signage illustrations and design for archaeological companies, non-fiction historical book illustrations, botanical illustrations, book design for catalogues, novels, biographies, e-publishing and more.

While Lillian specialises in book design and illustration, she can put her skills to good use with other creative projects too, so feel free to contact her with your proposals.
