About

I completed a diploma in Graphic Design in 2014. The following year I began a degree in Natural History Illustration (scientific illustration) at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2018.
During this time I also took a course in children’s book design and illustration at Pumphouse Design School, Newcastle, and with these specialised skills, I began work as a freelance designer and illustrator.

Having a background in design for print and illustrating for print, I am in a relatively unique position of being able to manage a broad range of creative projects from conception to finish.

I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to produce informative signage illustrations and design for archaeological companies, non-fiction historical book illustrations, botanical illustrations, book design for catalogues, novels, biographies, e-publishing and more.

While I specialise in book design and illustration, I can put my skills to good use with other creative projects too, so feel free to contact me with your project proposals.
