About the project

I consider banksias to be some of the most beautiful plants in the world. I started drawing and painting them in 2016 and they have held my fascination ever since. The intricate flower spikes also make the banksia one of the most challenging subjects to paint.

This digital painting is another attempt to capture their intricate beauty.
