My initial ideation always starts by drawing by hand in a sketchbook.

These early drawings inform and direct the final work.

I painted in Adobe Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos Pro Tablet.

My computer was a MacBook Pro (2018) running Photoshop through an external scratch disk (to save the internal storage).

My canvas was set up for print in CMYK 16-bit colour channel with a DPI of at least 300, usually to the cm rather than the inch.
